Titan Slayer

A co-op mobile RPG modelled on the classic Warcraft III custom maps. Built almost entirely by an AI, in shifts that keep running through the night. One human checks at five gates.

Version 0.2.5, gate 2 has been signed off. On the weekend of 24/25 October a double shift attempts the first fully painted hero animations.

How far does an AI get when you hand it an entire game?

In October 2026 Jens Messerschmidt created an empty repository, wrote a concept and handed the work to Claude. Since then the AI has been planning, coding, testing and reviewing on its own – in fixed shifts with a budget, with its own review teams, and with the duty to write everything down.

This site shows what comes out of that: every day, every major decision, every discarded approach. The numbers come from the repository; anything estimated is marked as such.

The world

Heroes, monsters, the maps of old and the world of Titan – the game as its three players will see it.

The workshop

Chronicle, shift system, decisions and dead ends – how the game is made and where it keeps getting stuck.

This site. Jens and Claude plan titan-slayer.com in a question-and-answer session. The first version with everything so far is up the same evening.

Almost every spell better. After the effect packages: almost all spells are much better. But the painted enemies look more alive than the heroes. From Saturday, movement becomes the top priority.

Test every path. A big plan emerges in chat: 3D with Meshy and Blender too, video too. A Blender test starts right away.

Gate 2 ready. Version 0.2.0: three classes, a dummy boss, four camp types, loot, saving, sound.

Gate 2 signed off – with clear words. Measurements perfectly smooth, saving works, camps fair. But the animations look bad, area spells are one giant cloud, and you have to see every shot fly. Jens decides: art and movement first, then new content.
